How good a 1651 hand needs to be to do 2 over 1 game force?
well said.
How good a 1651 hand needs to be to do 2 over 1 game force?
the simulation was meant to find what happens when opener has the worst fit minimum hands, how will a heart contract end up with. yes, we realize the simulation can be improved. if opener has 5134 and 15, he would not pass and that was not the simulation goal.

The point is this: If you respond 1NT, you risk a pass from opener when he has flat min hand and miss game. If partner would rebid, then what you bid first is less of a concern. You will always reach game if there is one and you might reach ...

Another UI situation...
@David @Richard Not sure what I had missed but I had stated in the original post that North (yes, that was me) was thinking about how to invite. My thoughts had been the same since I made the post, never changed by David or anyone else.
Another UI situation...
Max, Let us just take this hand in the post as an example. I was North and had determined to invite all along. My issue was which is the better bid to invite, 3D or 2NT. So the bidding issue may be not just about a simple weak invite or ...
