about me

Hello Ruby Tuesday...

I'm from the States but have lived in various countries overseas for half of the last 16 years.

I've had the honor of representing the US (as a junior), Bermuda and Costa Rica in international tournaments

When in the States, I live in the DC area and play the WBL Unit game

ATB Matchpoint disaster
Yes, I was thinking that the spade and diamond lengths might be reversed.
Too weak to reverse but holding 6m-5M, which suit do you open with?
Well, yes - that's a 4-loser hand - easily within reverse strength
Other as a logical alternative
I disagree with John Adams 100% politically, and I, too, could not resist voting for other in this poll.
Precision sequence 1D - P - 2C
That's completely a question of agreement. We've decided our auctions are easier if we bid our 4-cd majors right away. 2 is a minor suit oriented invitational hand while 2 is minor suit oriented game force
Wuhan Restaurants
My understanding is that the scorpion dish is strictly for the tourists.
Ethical, questionable or cheating?
That's literally what she said.
ATB: Did anyone actually do anything wrong?
I know someone who did something wrong on this hand - but it wasn't at your table :)
ATB - Goulash hand went wrong
Where is "The bidding looks horrible, both players are to blame"
Extras or Not?
Any bid over 2H would show extras
Robots did me dirty
You can click next to find out. JS got covered. Michael won and crossed to the AH to take the finesse again Losing both a diamond and a trump was suboptimal in 6S
