New Suit Jump In Response to Weak Two
4C is KC, 4 other is a lead directing fit
Is this 2!c bid forcing?
As 3 Clubs is preemptive 2C becomes constructive and is best played as a 1 round force saving redouble for the hand with which you wish to punish the opponents.
How Hard Will You Strain to Raise
Bernie I will quote you: "never surprise partner with trump support"
How Hard Will You Strain to Raise
I did vote for the first four
J. R. Rothschild's bidding problem: AKJ95 42 Q3 JT93
Color me old fashioned. 8 losers only 2 quick tricks my partners will never let me out with a plus score.
Dick Vatter's bidding problem: J73 K QT874 AK83
I abstained because I know the hand but feel strongly that 3S should show a partial stopper but without that agreement 4H is the better call.
Marten La Haye's bidding problem: AKQT74 --- AQ5 AT73
This will teach you to avoid the partnership desk
Michael Barel's bidding problem: AQ754 K2 --- AK9852
Pard has something and as usual I am way behind in the match
Liam Milne's bidding problem: AKT953 K8 AT74 3
Just curious Peg: after partner raises three diamonds too four won't 4 spades show this hand?
RIP Ken Cohen
I considered Kenny to be the most difficult of opponents. I remember a BAM hand that Kenny after passing twice overcalled on a poor 4 card suit at the three level - right as usual.
