The Club's Coffee-Housing
Honestly I experience very strong ethics at the table these days. Don't remember the last time I was coffee housed. Maybe I'm just lucky.
Is Bridge "Dying" or are the demographics simply changing?
Re-read your original post, I see you also did some of these numbers. Just not sure I follow the argument: if big clubs are growing but we're losing tables already, then we're losing players. Credit to Honors for running well and attracting players but the numbers seem clear.

Thought provoking post but I think we're just losing tables. Ran some quick numbers from club table counts https://web3.acbl.org/club-table-count/, someone could certainly do more systematically. From 2016-2018 we have lost 125/2,930 (4%) of clubs and 92,316/2.3 million (4%) of tables ...

Dying, not changing. Tournament attendance dropping every year in district 7 (I see the numbers) and I think it is the same around the country. Interesting point that large clubs are doing well, but clearly we see a drop in tournament attendance
