about me

Can you identify my Avatar?  I'm the best bridge player in Chicago for about three hands a month.  The rest of the time, I just swim along with the other fish.

How would you? A. Teams. B. MPts. C. BAM
3, 3, 2 and 1 . No? Assuming that diamonds are 4-2 or better. If not, clubs must be 3-3. What did I miss? I could play for the spade king onside but that seems to give opps a lot of chances to attack clubs.

Philip McPeek's lead problem: A762 KQ43 QT76 8
The question: Do you want to tap yourself or declarer?
How many !Ds to respond 1!D instead of 1!S?
Respond 1 with 6-9 balanced or any hand with diamonds. So I voted other a;though almost all the hands rate a 1 response.
Kyle Rockoff's bidding problem: Jx KQ7 QJ AJ9xxx
Me too!
Cory Perkers's bidding problem: KQ63 K9432 4 Q97
Partner asked me to cuebid, so I will.
14-16 1NT
I have been playing 14-16 NT (in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd NV) in a 2/1 structure for at least 10 years and its works fine. 14-16 works with any system that routinely opens with 10-11HCP. This has been one of the great advantages of strong club systems, but there ...
