Bridge Player
about me

I was a troubled lad, whose father died in 1966. To escape, I began playing bridge at the Chess and Checker Club of New York in Times Square, better known as The Flea House. It was run by John Fursa, a former bridge player. It was the place where serious Scrabble originated. I graduated to the Gothem Bridge Club on 72nd Street. Down the street was the Chess House, another offbeat place that had bridge in the back, run by Jimmy Hamilton.

Jim Munday Wins Another BBO Individual Practice Session!
Guess what? It's not new. People have been playing this game for years. Online masterpoint races are taken seriously by those in them and even among assorted onlookers. If you think that this game is bizarre, I consider that spending the day sitting with a bunch of people whose ...
Ivey (Appellant) v Genting Casinos (UK) Ltd t/a Crockfords (Respondents)
I wouldn't call casino management stupid. A careless or incompetent dealer might inadvertently flash the next card coming off the deck in time for a player to act on it. I wouldn't call this type of dealer error stacking the deck, even though, according to you, that's ...
Uber at Pearson Airport - Pro tip for the Summer NABC
It's not hostility to tourists at all. Uber is trying to run ordinary taxicab companies out of business. Sometimes, in the process they do not pay their fair share of taxes.
