As fas as I know Gordon, they have no more pending appeals against Italian Federation, in Italy they were acquitted and this is the end of the proceedings related to the Italian Federation. edited a typo the/they :)

There was a meeting of the FIGB boardon 23rd September 2000. Gianarrigo Rona, the FIGB president, spoke about the Italian win in Maastricht and Mr Alfredo Mensitieri (Board Member) proposed the amnesty, and it was agreed unanimously. So the amnesty is due to the Olympic Gold.
