in northern calif a lot of people play a weird two club opening where it can be 4 losers real short on hcp. As Craig Biddle said the best way to defend it is by bidding against it.

thanks, that's what I was thinking that you would have to reel it in sometimes or it would be too obvious but even just dealing with that extra would add to the stress.
