SF Online Robot NABC Event - Day 1
Passing hands like this vs bots generally works out poorly because their defence is so ridiculously terrible that the rest of the field will make hopeless partscores. The same might be said for taking the push to 3h on this hand since you can't trust your bot partner to ...
Why am I not that crazy about Bridge anymore these days?
@Sabrina, Your comments have been super-enlightening for me. For many years I've wondered why the ACBL was dragging its heels on the issue of ratings for KO bracketing. It never occurred to me that high-masterpoint holders would have a feeling that they had "earned" the right to play in ...

But at regionals Shawn will be stuck playing pairs unless he feels like ROFLStomping a low bracket team game.
Why am I not that crazy about Bridge anymore these days?
I count myself among the many players with limited funds, time, and remote living location that make it difficult to accumulate the necessary masterpoints to play in the top bracket.
New suit forcing after overcall or not?
Isn't standard forcing at the 1-level and non-forcing at the 2-level? I'm surprised to many play the example given as non-forcing.

Try your hand at tournament bridge this Christmas at the ‘Jack High’ Swiss Pairs. This new ...

World Online Championship - 1st edition 2020
They should just use funbridge in the finals because its much closer to real bridge than the BBO bots. As an aside, they should scrap GIB altogether and put Argine onto BBO.
World Online Championship - 1st edition 2020
20 tournaments for $55 with a shot at a trip and prizing seems a lot better than the ACBL's $50 for 3 tournaments, no prizing, and a grand prize that doesn't even count for Grand Life Master status.
