Missed slam - who was more responsible
South already overbid, how can you blame him?
what is this 3!D means ?
Martens transfer: strong hand 5+ ;)
Play the 10 or not...
Where did i loose a beer card?
Assess the credit. What is the best bid?
Ok, didn't notice 4 to be RKCB. Anyway, problem with xx QJ10x AKQx Qxx is still on, i mean, what N will do when he finds out 1KC is missing?
Assess the credit. What is the best bid?
Don't like 5 bid, South can have xx QJ10x AKQx Qxx Now you are doomed. Therefore it should be pass on 5. N already made a move, has to respect partners weakest bid. P.S. What is 2C-2D-3S?
Vintage Precision Opening Bid Question
1+3 seems the way to go. I lean towards 2 bid rather than 3 as my 2nd option...
Sometimes declaring isn't fun
The only way to invite with 3c support is to go thru "longer" minor. Nothing to discuss here actually, added bidding for those who prefer to know if opponents have possibility to enter the bidding.
Sometimes declaring isn't fun
This was the full hand: ........... A J 6 ........... A 6 4 ........... 8 7 5 3 ........... Q 10 4 52...................Q87 Q109752....... KJ3 K102................ Q94 J6 .................. K753 ........... K 10 9 4 3 ........... 8 ........... A J 6 ........... ...
Play problem (local unit KO match)
ruff ; 3-->Q, 9-->K would be my start
How A Junior Would Teach Bidding
I would never start teaching bridge with natural system. First few steps only, i mean - clubs are clubs, spades are spades etc. After that, precision. Natural based, where 1 do show 4+ . Gone that way myself.
