Should a 2/1 by advancer be one round forcing?
I think you should include non-fit GF hands in cue, because they are rare, and let 2 new remain as NAT NF, constructive.
YBTJ
North could not do anything reasonable. South's first pass is normal. South might have reopened 3 with 4, but it is far from obvious. One point for precision.
1!h-2!s and 1!s-3!h to show 3-card limit raise in opener’s major?
The problem with these bids, that you end up on level 3 opposite a minimal opener, and sometimes will go down. Therefore I think it is better to include this type of raise in the 2 response, then you can stop in 2M. Many players already do it.
What does this 1NT rebid show?
12-14 with stopper and denies 3-card (although might have it with very NT oriented hand). Of course it is not obligatory if you judge that passing is better.
1NT overcall with a small singleton? Legal or Not in ACBL??
Yeah, reading these ACBL rules on bidding I am happy to play in Europe. My view: play whatever you like as long as you share the knowledge with the opponents.
2/1 vs. Precision
Better to differentiate on opp's vulnerability: precision if THEY are vulnerable (and hopefully shut up when we open 1)
2/1 vs. Precision
If you add áll those bells and whistles to 2/1 it will be more complicated than a hi-tech relay precision
Top players playing weak (12-14) NT in a natural 2/1 system
Natural system today simply means that their first 2-3 bids are usually natural. Overall they are not less complex or artificial than an artificial system.
Major Suit Responses To Unbalanced 1!D
How do you bid the strong gambling type hand if you use 1 - 1M - 3N for supporting the major?
A "strong" 2C ruling in SB's favour
Namyats traditionally has an upper limit (8.5 - 9 tricks as I know). Let's say you open 4. Partner bids 4. And now? 6?
