I mostly played rubber under the condition that the score of a dry rubber gets doubled, quite often also with goulash for throw ins. Sobriety was not necessarily observed. That changes quite a lot in terms of what to do with palookas with a confounding factor of relative sobriety of players.

1444 hand that couldn't X initially is the worst one to balance; almost any 54 hand with three is great to balance

How come you not show on vugraph a nail bitter with a full junior team and pick Zimmerman match with a lead of 40?
Edited: I'm positive too that any Polish bridge devotee would prefer to kibitz the juniors instead of Pszczoła-Zawada

True, 2N is NF but where do you see the tricks coming from opposite boring 10-11? Direct 3N would show mild extras with a semblance of a suit/18 without fit

For me it's too good a hand to bet on the perfect sequence of the opponents to have the perfect opportunity to show that type of shape

As an addendum, you survive 4 with E is are 3-2 by using them as auxiliary trumps

Everybody agrees that this board raises a suspicion about fieldieng a psych. You don't help your case by not saying, for instance, what freely bid 1N shows for this pair
