I dont like the 3 bid from opener….2 was fine.
My suggestion
1 pass 2 (2)
Pass Pass 2 Pass
2 Pass 3 Pass
3 N All pass

The 2 bid already showed that opener needs some help in , (otherwise he would have bid 2NT), so the 3 bid should show something like a half stopper. After that West has a confident 3N bid.

Isnt it standard that in a natural system 2 - 2 - 3/ shows 4 / with a longer diamond suit?

1NT - 2 - 2 - 2 is INV with exactly 5
With 54 MM and a weak hand i transfer to the 5 card suit or bid 1 N - 2 - 2 - 2

4 wasnt a very helpful bid, he should definetely bid 4 first to direct the lead. 4 can be bid later on.
After the actual bidding its normal to lead the K of

Double Pass Inversion would work terrific here. I could double to show an offensive hand which would like to go on.
With a defensive hand pd will pass. If he bids 5 i will continue with 5 which must show heart tolerance as with an one suiter i would have bid 5 immediately.

Having put my hand on the block, its obvious to pass 2 now. 2 and 3 are terrible bids, even worse than my earlier 2 bid….:)….Of course 3 is the worst bid possible begging for 500+

I like the 2 bid, a heart partial is probably the only contract where my hand has value.

i dont like it when Pds suits are not known…..So i have to guess and will guess Pass. If Pd has spades and clubs, this will be very expensive….

Would have openend 1N. NVul this seems obvious to me, being VUL it´s less clear.

Easy decision to pass: When pass is wrong, it´s my pds problem and i will win the postmortem because he should have bid something else…;-)
Impossible to say whether the Ace and the Q pull full value…..pd might easily have a spade void and a 5 card heart suit…..

With the south hand I
a) would have Xed 1
b) would have passed 3
c) would have bid 4 after 3 already having overbid before

I admit that i dont see the 2NT bis as much of a problem as the alternative 3 isnt natural anyway. Besides after 2NT you might find a Club fit immidiately when South bids a club fragment, you wont find the fit after 3 (how many cards of the north hand does this really show?)

2NT and later 3NT proves that north isnt sure that 3N is the best contract, he has doubts as far as strain and/or level are concerned. Thus i wont pass 3NT witrh the south hand

South knows that his hand is probably absolutely worthless in 3N. In a lot of cases it wont deliver even 1 trick..3N might still make but i would have tried my luck in 4

It´s much more comfortable to play 2 as a 4415 (-1 card) distribution and 1 as 2+ . Thus the 2 opener can be handled……

I dont think it is a good idea to force opener to XX with any hand and 3 card suppport. With balanced junk he should be allowed to pass.

Playing that style means that opener cannot risk trapping, so actually you are not in a force

How many diamonds does 1 promise in your system?

Who will ever need a penalty X in this situation?

I would have openend……so i dont have this problem.
But i play 1NT = 14-16, so the rebid shows 11-13

I think it´s best to play transfers after 1 . If forced to play natural bids, then in my opinion 1 should only be bid when a) you dont have a 4+ card M or
b) you have one but have GF values

Thus my rebid would be 1NT with this hand, as 1M would promise an unbal hand
