Isn't a raise of the 4th suit forcing suit the most forward going option? I want to slow this auction down with my misfit minimum.

I would bid 3 with less.

I would have immediately bid whichever describes this hand, 3 or 2 planning on rebidding 3. I don't think this is a GF but wouldn't be surprised if it made game opposite a min.

If it isn't penalty what is it? I wouldn't especially like passing but I do have 2 aces and my s aren't that good. Partner knows this is IMPs and could have passed it to me. If I really think this is takeout then maybe I should do more than 4.

If I were that desperate to make cute comments I would take some remedial grammar lessons.

I don't play 2 as forcing so I'm bidding 2NT

Tough problem, both 2NT and 3 are underbids and 3NT shows a different hand type. The stiff is a minus so I would call 2NT aiming toward the most likely game.

I suspect that at least some of the passers would open at the table.

Amazing, I find myself agreeing with Jay :)
I would normally play NEANDERTHAL (4C Stayman, transfers, 4S ace asking)

Because you might have the same hand without the K and bid the same way. Now partner will have a problem wondering which hand you have and whether to go past game.

I guess the 2 bidders never dbl with 43 in the majors. 2 followed by 2NT over 2S or 3 over 2 describes this hand.

In the words of a commentor from a previous problem, “I thought this was a lead problem”

How can the pass over 2 be forcing? East deserves to defend 2 undoubled. Of course, after his long tank before passing his partner will never pass.

5NT is fine but since I plan to bid 7 regardless of the answer I will just go ahead and bid it. I'm not taking a chance on a bidding misunderstanding to reach 7NT.

I would open if we open most 11's, otherwise pass.
