You got me! I never considered the possibility that someone might bid s. But I'm not sure what that has to do with anything. Are you saying that you would open 1S because someone will bid hearts?

Since when is 2 over 1NT not a reverse? The people who mentioned reversing were foreseeing this possibility.

Not playing 2/1 since you are game forced anyway. Most play that 2 should show 6. I know, there are some very good players who don't promise 6…

While you're at it you might as well hope that you have a play for 12 tricks. Why should I bid 6 just because the opps bid 5? I wouldn't bid it if rho had bid 4.
