4NT RKC for hearts works for me. I can find another bid if I have a stiff heart and a rock.

Probably should be 65 since he didn't double 2.

I like my hand for 6 and no pressure to get to NT vs clubs. Partner should have a 6 bagger.

If partner has both aces I'm bidding 7. I know, I might be off 2 club tricks but I doubt it.

Obviously, neither E nor S knows how to bid.

2 will be the popular answer but I think the correct bid is 2 showing a limit raise+, just as if partner had overcalled 1.

Neither pointed suit lead is likely to beat 3NT but I think the diamond is a little less likely to give up a trick and it also gives me something to get out with if I get back in.

4NT, and raise 5m to 6. I don't see how to confidently get to 7 and am unwilling to settle for a penalty, I don't think we can get 1400.

Maybe I should have made myself clearer. 4 shows this shape but a better hand. What would you bid with the same hand but exchange a small spade for the A? Are you going to bid slam all by yourself?

I'm leading a heart but either the J or 10 is more likely to give up a trick than a small one.

If I were making a help suit game try, it would be in clubs, not diamonds. Partner will think Qxx is a good holding. Am I forced to either abstain or make a bad bid?

I bid what I hope I can make. Partner probably has 3 clubs and maybe an outside trick. I might pass if they were vul.

Pass, no choice. 4 should be at least a slam try.

I'm happy to get out of a misfit.

After some thought, I like 4NT better than 4. We might miss a good 6 but more likely 4 could get us to a hopeless slam after a long, tedious auction.

I agree that's a problem hand but I would double over 2 and pull 2 to 2 or 3 to 3. Passing is not flexible enough. I WANT my partners to reopen with double on any hand with which they would pass a penalty double.

4, it probably will go 4 but not always.

I don't play flannery so the 2 bidders must know something I don't.

I would have doubled 1.
