Have had discussions with some different players who argue that trump-leads are often winning against part-scores...
Myself, I strongly favour passive leads unless partner has shown a suit or I have an obvious sequence, shortness or (in NT) length to lead from, but generally not very keen on trump-leads, particularly.
Just wondered, has there been published any statistical double-dummy analysis, whether there is any truth to this?
And under what circumstances, more specifically, trump-leads are more likely to win, etc?
