Strong players who learned bridge later in life?

Curious when experts and world class players learned to play. I think most learned by college age at the very latest??? Hence a poll...

Interested in comments on other strong players that you know of that may have learned later in life.

Sorry to make people self rate but couldn't figure out a good way to do the poll otherwise. To avoid getting hung up on definitions:

- world class means you have represented your country in a world championship or the equivalent (and you feel like you were similar strength to the field)

- expert means you are among the stronger players in a national event and have a reasonable chance to win or place highly

If you don't want to self rate answer anonymously and I will post results results in a comment.

Added looking at some of the abstentions: if you feel uncomfortable deciding how to label yourself and you pick expert I promise not to accuse you of false modesty :)
