'English Bridge' (the member's magazine for the EBU) contains a Bidding Quiz presented by David Bird. Each quiz consists of 6 hands from international play and the challenge is to beat the experts. Contracts are given a score out of 10 so 60 points are up for grabs.

We managed to get 50/60 this month despite the curious score of zero on hand 2:

2 was a multi with 2 a passable relay (if opener has 8-12 hcp and 6 diamonds)

2 showed a big S/H 2-suiter (at least 5-5) and 3 showed mild slam interest.
