Under the new convention charts taking effect 11/21, Multi 2D, or a mini-multi 2D (without a strong option), should have been allowed in ANY event run under the Open or Open+ chart, without restriction as to the number of boards per round, and with the obligation to present a suggested defense from the ACBL defense database.
