Inverted Minor holding a 4-card major

Bidding an inverted minor suit single raise (limit-plus) holding a 4-card major.  What? This is blasphemy!  Inverted minors deny possession of a 4-card major, or so I have been taught.  But, then again, how often have you had a hand where you really wished you could make an inverted single minor raise while also holding a 4-card major and GF values and system precluded doing so.  For me, this has occurred on many occasions over the years including twice within the past week or so.

I have the basic notes on a method authored, I believe, by Eric Kokish (it's online/ Google it) that permits the single inverted minor raised to include a 4-card major.  Briefly put, it uses the next step after 1m-2m as a relay/ inquiry that asks responder via a series of 3 steps to describe the nature of the inverted single raise.  2 shows a GF hand with 5+ trumps after which opener (I think) is able to show a 4-card major via 3M,  and 2NT is also GF, and also may have a 4-card major (3C then = "constructive", 3D = "staymanish", and 3M = natural).  After 1C-2C-2D relay/inquiry, 2H = limit/ game invitational raise.  After 1D-2D-2H relay/ inquiry 3C shows the limit raise.

I am curious about how many of you are familiar with this method, have tried/ used it or are using it, and how you feel about it/ how successful has it been for you.  Personally I can anticipate a few things where further discussion would be needed such as over preemption/ potential for losing the 4-4 major.

In the answer section I have tried to spell out as many options as I can presently think of.  I'm sure I missed many other possible answers.

Thanks in advance for your feedback
