Deschapelles Coup??

According to most articles and definitions I have found, the Deschapelles Coup is the lead and sacrifice of a high honor to create an entry into partner’s hand (to run his suit, put him on lead, or for other gain).  This differs from the more common Merrimac Coup which is the lead and sacrifice of a high honor to prevent later entry into opponents hand to run their suit. Right?

So my question is:  What do they call it when you DISCARD a high honor to create entry into partner’s hand?
