Control Bidding

You hold:6AQJ764953AK6

Your partner opens 1, you bid 2 and he raises to 3

You decide that 6 might have a chance, and bid 4. (Question 1: 3 would have shown A or K - Right ?)

Partner cue-bids 4.

Question 2: If you bid 4 now, it (a) expresses doubt about the . Partner is only allowed to go on if he hascontrol OR (b) leaves further decision tp partner: are no problem, Do you have extras ?

You decide to bid 5 : "spades are No problem, do you have extras ? " Right ? = question 3.

I realize that the answering scheme is a little confusing, because there are really 3 questions.

Maybe an idea for the webmaster: allow several questions in one post.

Thanks all for helping me to understand those control sequences......
