Analysis by Robert Todd

East opens 1 and South passes, so West makes a Jacoby 2NT raise (on the edge with just 12 points and 4333 shape, but worth it.) North passes and East rebids 3, showing no shortness but extra values. Now West should follow through and show the A, which is almost all East needs to hear. East bids 4NT Keycard, West shows just that one Ace, and East bids 6.
However, this is wrong-sided and the defense has a chance to beat it if South leads a ! Any other lead and declarer can knock out the A, getting a pitch on a (guessing the J right) and a for 2 of his , and make it - but it's an interesting play problem!
