Became LM over 35 years ago but don't ask me how? Frequently play on BBO - (Double !) but play live bridge relatively infrequently. Memory and attention/ concentration skills seem to be getting progressively worse (especially in terms of remembering played cards). If I post a problem or OP, even if it seems like such a no-brainer and elementary to you, something likely occurred at the table where a disagreement occurred or there was some difference in approach or style. So please view it as respecting and appreciating your input.

The bidding on this hand apparently varied a bit depending on the table.
This was the bidding at my table.
Based on part 1 of this bidding poll, 3♠ so far is the recommended bid over the 3♥ cue by a vast majority.
Partner now repeats the cue bid. Why has partner chosen to torture you? What is he saying/ showing (what kind of hand do you visualize him holding)? (btw: I am not sure my 4♥ bid was the best bid I could have made with my hand. I see another possibility. Also not sure 3♥ was best. Will post companion hand soon.)
