Playing in a top-bracket Swiss today, both teams ended in 4. Note: I can't seem to convince the hand generator that everyone was vul., but they were.

One pair bid 1 - 3 (any splinter) / 4.

The other bid 2 (Precision, 6+) - 2 (asking) / 3 (5) - 4.

I'm sure some will disapprove of both the methods and the decisions, but this is about the play:

At both tables, a spade was led: 7, A, ruff. Declarer advanced the Q: K, A, small. Sorry that I don't remember the spots in either case. Over to you:

(Note: I'm aware that plans may change when/if honors appear at various points along these lines. I'm looking for your initial plan for 10 tricks.)

club to A, planning to try to ruff clubs good, cashing A somewhere along the line
club to A, planning to try to ruff clubs good, not cashing A somewhere along the line
club to Q, planning to try to ruff clubs good, cashing A somewhere along the line
club to Q, planning to try to ruff clubs good, not cashing A somewhere along the line
club to A, planning a crossruff, cashing A somewhere along the line
club to A, planning a crossruff, not cashing A somewhere along the line
something else (specify)
you already blew it at tricks one and/or two
